Due to our clients' requirements and project timeframes, only candidates with the legal right to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating architectural aluminium joinery, including measuring, cutting, preparing glazing, and assembling aluminium windows, doors, and framing systems.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and job sheets to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Operating fabrication equipment and machinery, including drills, cut-off saws, band saws, routers, and punches, safely and efficiently.
• Producing-quality while meeting production schedules and efficiency targets.
• Preparing completed products for dispatch, including cleaning, checking, and packaging for delivery.
• Loading and unloading materials and finished products safely, including assisting with truck loading and unloading.
• Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials and supplies.
• Operating forklift safely (where licensed and authorised).
• Supporting on-site maintenance and installation work when required.
• Maintaining clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
• Working closely within the team and demonstrating a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 year's experience in aluminium fabrication or architectural aluminium joinery.
• Proven experience measuring, cutting, fabricating, and assembling aluminium joinery.
• Competent using fabrication machinery, including drills, cut-off saws, band saws, routers, and punches.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication schedules.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling and lifting.
• Current forklift licence and Full New Zealand Driver Licence is required.
• Ability to drive a manual vehicle is an advantage.
